About this department: Medical Lab Tech
This is a Dynamic department that is ever adapting and evolving to meet the needs of the hospital. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with phlebotomy, can work independently, is self-directed and has excellent time management skills.

Responsibility for the accurate performance of laboratory tests that determine the presence, absence, or cause of disease
Conducting a full range of tests from the most routine to the most complex with little or no supervision
Responsibility for the operation of computers, precision instruments, and other complex electronic equipment
Requirements of this position include:
Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or Biology.
Certification by a national registry for Clinical Laboratory Science as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or eligible for certification in the above category with subsequent certification within one year of hire date.
Physical requirements include bending, stooping, reaching, and carrying objects that may weigh up to 50 lbs. AMNHC
