Job Description
Responsible for assessing and managing the health and well-being of patients. Conducts extensive patient histories and examinations; orders medications, treatments and laboratory tests; records progress notes and writes discharge summaries; and conducts rounds.
Hours: Full-time working 80 hrs. every two weeks.
Location: 3805 East Main Street, St. Charles, Suite J & M
Qualifications
Requirements:
> High School diploma or GED
> Graduation from an approved Physician Assistant Program
> Certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
> Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
> Requires the ability to walk or stand for an hour or more at a time, lift or carry objects weighing more than 20 pounds, lift and position patients, proofread and check documents for errors, use a keyboard to enter, retrieve or transform words or data, closely examine specimens, images, or reports
> Certification in pyschiatry
Preferred:
> Experience as a Physician Assistant
> Psychiatry experience
